Free Dance Party Features La Crosse Jazz Orchestra

Winona, Minn. – Rhythm @ the River is coming to Winona in September, and the La Crosse Jazz Orchestra will be part of the free live music dance party.

Rhythm @ the River will run from 4 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15 at Levee Park, located on the banks of the Mississippi River at 58 Center St., Winona.

The LJO, western Wisconsin’s premier big band, will perform swing music for dancing from 7 to 9 p.m. Golpe Tierra, an Afro jazz salsa band from Madison, will perform earlier in the day. In addition, Stan and Molly Breitlow from River City Ballroom Dancers will give free dance lessons.
